Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.
– Napoleon Bonaparte
Napoleon Bonaparte (1769 β 1821) was the Emperor of the French from 1804 until 1814 and briefly again in 1815. He dominated European and global affairs for more than a decade while leading France against a series of coalitions during the Napoleonic Wars and is hailed as one of the greatest military commanders and rulers in history. Aside from being triumphant in battles and building an empire, Bonaparte also laid the foundation for modern French Education and created the Napoleonic Code, a set of laws based on common sense and equality. While there are many rumors about Napoleon’s height, he was actually 5β6β β 5β7β (168-170 cm) which is rather average height for his time. #history
