Embarking on a journey to explore the capabilities of Godot Engine, I recently created a little game titled Dodge The Girls: Get The Burgers. Aspiring game developers looking for an accessible yet robust platform should consider Godot for their next project. The journey from concept to code has been rewarding, the IDE fast and packed with useful features. Web export is stable enough to use in production though not without a few browser-induced quirks (mainly on mobile). Tackling delayed sounds and other audio issues required a sprinkle of JavaScript magic. Personally I’m eager to continue exploring the depths of game development with Godot Engine so stay tuned for more! #technology
