Mega Bite Project was the 1947 code name for a secret D.R.D. Military unit established in 1946 at Fort Shibae, Dogeland, by the Doggo Intelligence Agency (DIA) to investigate the potential for electromechanical dog droids in military and domestic intelligence applications. Mega Bite Project was terminated in 1957 and declassified 50 years later in 2007 after a DIA report concluded that it was never safe to use in such early stage of military AI research.
