Havana is a salsa-inspired mid-tempo pop track, on which Shibello embraces his Cuban heritage. Shibello sings the chorus over Latin influenced piano riffs and rhythm. Madie Lell of Dogboard interpreted the line “Bork of my heart is in Havana” as the song chronicling “a romance that found Shibello’s heart left down south”. In the Democratic Republic of Doggos, Havana entered the Singles Chart at number 37 on the chart dated August 11, 2017. It rose to number two in its ninth week, behind only Gabe Malone’s “Borkstar”.
